My reception and event services include high quality sound equipment, sufficient for any venue, LED/Lazer dance floor lighting and wireless microphones for announcements/toasts. Reception services are a flat rate and event services are an hourly rate.
I keep guests engaged and informed as a master of ceremonies for wedding receptions. I will make clean and clear announcements throughout the reception, allowing the night to run smoothly and on time. The night is not about me, it’s not my show. I am hired to keep the night rolling and entertain everyone with music to dance to. I am also hired to make your wedding day memorable. I want guests leaving your reception telling you it was the best one they have attended.
I don’t just press the play button and wait for the song to end. I fluidly mix from one song into another with two turntables, a mixer and a laptop. I keep an eye on the crowd to evaluate my next song selection. The fun atmosphere I create keeps guests on the dance floor for the remainder of the night. Listen for yourself!
In regards to weddings, I help create a timeline of the nights events. I meet with couples around 30 days prior to the reception to cover all of the details. We also cover songs the couple wants to hear and do not want to hear throughout the night. The timeline also allows me to remain on schedule. I always try to plan for a minimum of 3 hours for dancing.
Uplights are placed strategically against pillars and walls in the venue. The lights create an ambiance that accentuates the room and table centerpieces. You get to choose any color you desire!
Couples can select the songs they would like me to play for their ceremony. A lapel mic for the officiant and a handheld mic for a reader/singer are included. If the ceremony is in another room or outside, I provide an additional speaker and a skirted table.
